Nancy E. Uhlman

MERIDEN - Nancy E. Uhlman, 62, of Meriden, loving wife of Dale Uhlman, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 19, 2018 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Nancy was born in New Haven, October 13, 1956, a daughter of the late Philip Sylvia and Beverly (Norkus) Sylvia and had been a resident of Meriden for many years. Nancy was a graduate of Sheehan High School in Wallingford and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Goodwin College. She was employed as a registered nurse for many years at the former Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington, Connecticut Baptist Home in Meriden, Mary Wade in New Haven and more recently the Jerome Home in New Britain.

In addition to her husband Dale, she is survived by her two sons Justin Uhlman and Nicholas Uhlman both of Meriden; her sister Kim Cucurello and her husband Frank of Wallingford; her two brothers David Sylvia of Wallingford, Russell Sylvia of Maine; many nieces; h di nephews; one grandniece; one grandnephew. She was predeceased by two sisters Darlene Preisler and Susan Sylvia.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford FuneralHome, 809 North Main St.
