Obituary of Andrew Magyar

Andrew Magyar, 58, of Covington, GA, formerly of Wallingford, CT, and Los Angeles, CA passed away February 20, 2016 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mr. Magyar was born in New Haven, CT to the late Andrew and Margaret Magyar. Andrew graduated from Sheehan High School in 1975 and he earned a Bachelor degree in communications in 1982 from Brockport State in New York. Mr. Magyar worked in broadcasting and video production from 1982 until 2014. As a broadcast engineer he worked in New York and Los Angeles with various career stops in between. Andrew was a huge New York Yankees fan and enjoyed playing golf.

Mr. Magyar is survived by his loving wife of 14 years Donna Magyar of Covington, GA; and his son Andrew Jordan Magyar of Irvine, CA; and numerous extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church, 301 Honey Creek Road SE Conyers, GA 30094 with Rev. Dale Thomas officiating. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Long Leaf Hospice, 1132 Floyd Street, NE., Covington, GA 30014. RIP my dear friend.. You fought a long hard battle..you are at peace now...I have so many memories that I'll look back on. We had a lot of fun through out the years..a lot of laughs.. Happy I got to see you one more time in Vegas.. I'll sure miss you..
