In Memory

Lee Warren

Lee Warren

Early this morning at 4:20 our dad quietly and peacefully passed away. We know that he is finally free of his pain and suffering and for that we are grateful. I know that he was greeted by out little sister Sage when he reached the other side and that is what will keep me going today. He was an amazing man and we will miss him so much. Thank you to all who have been there to support all of us through this journey.

DUDLEY (LEE) WARREN Obituary

WARREN, DUDLEY (LEE) Dudley (Lee) Warren, 60, of Killingworth, CT, died October 31, 2015 at Middlesex Hospice. Lee was born on August 11, 1955 in Bridgeport, CT, to Dudley and Gene Warren and grew up in Wallingford. Lee worked for many years in the printing business while eventually establishing Thankful Circle Farm, in Killingworth, CT. His love for the land, combined with his desire to grow quality produce led him to find his passion in organic farming. Lee sold locally at farmers markets where he was known, not only for his quality produce, but also his genuine heart and contagious smile. Lee is survived by 4 of his children, Amie Guarraia of East Lyme, CT, Sara Warren of Guilford, CT, Jesse Warren of Middlefield, CT and Noka Warren of Southwick, MA. He will also be missed greatly by his 5 loving grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Debra Nest and family of Nashua, New Hampshire. He will be deeply missed by his family and his friends, yet all who played an important role in his life will continue to be blessed because of the unique lessons he taught them along the way. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his daughter, Sage Warren, with whom he will now be reunited. Friends are invited to calling hours on Thur. Nov. 5 from 5 – 7 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Lee was one of my best friends in high school. I have some wonderful memories of him in those days. He was a very intelligent, kind, true friend that you could always rely on with a huge smile that was present all the time. I will never forget his 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air.  It really was a nice car that I know he truly cherished in those days. It's hard to count how many friends he had, because there were so many. It makes my angry with myself that we had lost touch so many years ago. I miss him and always will now. I truly believe that we will meet again someday. At that time we will reminisce about all those good times we had. The world has lost another treasure.
