He was born in Wallingford. He was a product designer at Guest Corp. in Meriden. He was a parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Wallingford. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance Group 513, the Amateur Poolplayers Association and the Angler Bass Association.

He is survived by his fiancee, Diane C. Plunske and her daughter, Jessica D. Plunske; a daughter, Tamera C. Wolak of Durham; a son, Christopher M. Wolak of Meriden; a sister, Carol Philippi of Meriden; a brother, Joseph F. Wolak of Wallingford; and two nieces.
